SEEU and Area Science Park have signed strategic partnership MoU

We're delighted to announce the official signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between SEEU and Area Science Park (ITA)

This strategic partnership is a testament to our commitment to excellence and collaboration in the world of education and business.

This partnership will focus on innovation and technology transfer divided into three areas: 1) Science and Technology Park - as a sustainable and green model of research-business collaboration which supports, among others, the creation of innovative start-ups and of joint laboratories; 2) Research for technological innovation - entailing the creation and use of technological platforms according to the logic of the distributed infrastructure, with particular reference to the sectors of innovative materials, bio-informatics, genomics and epi-genomics, data science and AI; and 3) Enhancement of research and support to entrepreneurial systems - through the development of Open Innovation models, and the strengthening of the institution’s European dimension, in particular as regards innovation ecosystems, technology transfer, business generation in sectors of interest.

Our shared commitment to excellence, innovation, and collaboration will pave the way for transformative initiatives, knowledge exchange, and mutual growth. Together, we are poised to make a significant impact on the business, research and Innovation landscape.

This activity was supported by the EU4EGProject - co-funded by the European Union (EU) Delegation to North Macedonia and the German Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Climate Action (BMWK). The project is implemented by Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit GmbH (GIZ) in partnership with Area Science Park (ASP) from Trieste, Italy and supported by the German Federal Ministry of Economic Affairs and Climate Action (BMWK) and the Central European Initiative (CEI) as Associates.
