BIC signs a cooperation agreement with GIZ for the Accelerator Program in Polog Region
The executive director of BIC Prof. Dr. Besnik Fetai together with the team leader of GIZ Mr. Mark Barrett signed the cooperation agreement for establishment, operation and investments of Business –Technology Accelerator: “700 ACCELERATOR” for developing and implementing a self-sustainable business acceleration programme in Polog Region for support of start-ups encompassing a variety of business support services and access to finance.
GIZ (German Corporation for International Cooperation) as a service provider in the field of international cooperation for sustainable development and international education work, experience in a wide variety areas, including economic development and employment promotion. Looking at it from this point of view the cooperation of GIZ with BIC on Accelerator Program will bring all the trust in one place to grow capacity to help start-ups and businesses create and sustain value.
The EU4EG project is co-funded by the European Union (EU) Delegation to North Macedonia and the German Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Climate Action (BMWK). The project is implemented by Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit GmbH (GIZ) in partnership with Area Science Park (ASP) from Trieste, Italy and supported by the German Federal Ministry of Economic Affairs and Climate Action (BMWK) and the Central European Initiative (CEI) as Associates.
