Wednesday TALK!

On December 18, 2013 was held the first panel discussion organized by SEEUTechPark. Designed to provide an opportunity for students and everyone who wants to hear several knowledgeable people about specific issue or topic, present information and discuss personal views.

Wednesday TALK! was opened by the Chief Operating Officer, Mr. Edmond Etemi who among other things said “Technology parks today are playing main role in the growth of a country’s economy by stimulating the creation of new start-up companies, creating synergy between companies and encouraging the growth of existing SME (Small/Medium Enterprises) which on the long run provides new job opportunities.” In his speech Mr. Etemi emphasized the meaning of Science/Technology Parks and their importance but the main focus of the presentation was on SEEUTechPark, its meaning and benefits for the country and region as well as for the students.

Our second speaker was Mr. Zeki Josufoski, Co-Founder of Bridge Technology, company which is one of the first tenants in SEEUTechPark. He talked about the reasons why he chose to be part of SEEUTechPark, the benefits that he was offered, the meaning and importance of the institution for a young entrepreneur and a new company like his.

Wednesday TALK! was closed by Mr. Norbert Marx, adviser of dual study programs who briefly explained the new integrated study program offered in South East European University.
