Microsoft’s event “DigiGirlz” comes to SEEUTechPark in Tetovo
On April 10, 2019, SEEUTechPark hosted the world wide event "DigiGirlz" which aims to encourage, inspire and support every girl who wants to be part of the IT world.
This program allows girls to become familiar with technology and business, giving them advice on their wishes and career, and demonstrating the power of what they can become in the future, and the development of their community. By participating in the DigiGirlz program, young girls can get acquainted with the numerous opportunities that are found in the technology industry and review their future career path.
In this year’s DigiGirlz program in Tetovo Prof. Dr. Veronika Kareva – Executive Advisor for Quality Assurance, Dr. Ing. Lejla Abazi Bexeti – Director of Doctoral School, and Prof. Dr. Besnik Selimi – Acting Dean at CST Faculty as SEEU representatives, and Florina Asani and Bora Dauti representing the TechPark’s tenant-company - Inspire 11, were happy to motivate more than 70 high-school girls from different backgrounds in getting more involved in the tech-world.
At the end, all of the high-school girls visited the SEEUTechPark, learned how we help young entrepreneurs develop their technology businesses, and had the chance to experience HD Virtual Reality programs, as future career job option.
