Representatives of the project POWER - "European Network of Women Mayors for Equal Opportunities in Citizens Life", visited SEEU and SEEUTechPark
On 4th February 2016, at the Conference Hall BDC, SEEUTechPark had great pleasure to hold a short presentation about their work before a delegation of the project POWER "European Network of Women Mayors for Equal Opportunities in Citizens Life", led by the Mayor of the Municipality of Tetovo, Mrs. Teuta Arifi and Mrs. Nial Memeti - Head of the local economic development of the municipality.
The delegation which was composed of representatives from various European regions and countries, including representatives of the regions of Polino-Italy, Ciudad Real-Spain, Blagoevgrad -Bulgaria and Labin-Croatia had the opportunity to get to know the operation of SEEU, for whose presentation was in charge Mr. Andrew Goodspeed – the Provost, also part of this presentation was the work and the results of SEEUTechPark, with special emphasis on improving the business skills of the students, the creation of new innovative companies and improve the local economic development.
Within the visit the delegation had a brief tour of the campus, visiting some of the most important centers of the University, which directly and closely acquainted with the Technological Park and preparations for the Start-Up Marathon, Start-Up Europe Week and the services of the Business Incubator.
The visit ended with a solemn semi-formal lunch for all attendees.
