American Chamber of Commerce - AmCham visited SEE University and the TechPark
On November 19, the Executive Director of the American Chamber of Commerce in Macedonia, Ms. Dijana Despodov visited the SEEU, and it’s Business Innovation Center.
During the visit to the SEEU campus in Tetovo, Ms. Despodov had meetings with the Rector - Acad. Prof. Dr. Abdylmenaf Bexheti and the Pro-Rector for Planning and Entrepreneurship - Prof. Dr. Besnik Fetai, talking about the University achievements in connecting the triangle uniting: academy, business and government sector, and the excellent opportunities for cooperation based on this Triple-Helix model.
Ms. Despodov had also the chance to visit the SEEUTechPark and be directly informed how the University is helping the innovative start-up companies create valuable export-oriented products, and opening new high-tech jobs, and at the same time, helping the more mature and medium-sized companies achieve more structural growth, through the services of Business Development Center – BDC.
During the visit, the Executive Director Ms. Despodov also visited the Technology Park tenant companies located in the campus, and ideas were exchanged and discussions regarding the long-term opportunities for cooperation.
