Guest lecture speak on Global Innovative Business Trends with Peter Righi – Global Director of CEED

On 28 of March 2019, we were honored to be host of a great international entrepreneurship speaker & supporter – Mr. Peter Righi, who had given short lecture on the global innovative trends & challenges in front of the SEEU students and TechPark tenant companies.

Peter has overseen the development and growth of CEED from a pilot project in Bulgaria in 2005, to its present status consisting of centers in eleven Balkan, Eastern European countries, and Africa. Founded by SEAF in 2005, CEED’s mission is to develop and connect entrepreneurs who want to grow as leaders, build their companies and give back to their community.

From his personal and professional perspective, Peter talked about making the breakthrough, and embracing the calculated risks that every entrepreneur faces on daily bases. He also talked about the impact that startup companies have on employment and national taxy policies.

At the end of the presentation, there was a vivid interaction with both students and startup representatives on motivation, team creation and access to finance topics, which resulted in collaborative discussion. The guest lecture was supported by the Speakers Program of the US Embassy in Skopje.
